Weather was nice today in my part of the UK. Hubby took me a drive and a short walk around some lovely gardens at Antrim Castle and then popped over to one of our old fave places for some ice-cream. Absolutely exhausted now and likely will not move much tomorrow. Joys of #fibromyalgia #CFS

We finally got some (cheap sticky) blinds up on the smaller window that we can’t put a curtain on & in the kitchen & I feel so much better & more private; even though we’re second floor & still have to get extra curtains as our doors to the balcony are HUGE! Little things make a difference!

Dr and meds saga is over! She called sounding like she’d be torn a new one, couldn’t get me off the phone quick enough. Not getting anymore meds taken off me, finally be able to reorder ones I needed and unless I get ill I don’t have to call for 6 months

Ok yeah just having straight panic attacks after that GP. She was so rude! Said anti depressants aren’t “for long term” Saying if they let me keep my meds it might mean a call EVERY OTHER WEEK. I can’t…I’ve taken years to get to where I am now where I’m still in pain and fatigued but can at least…

Can’t even make it up, GP called me today for an “appointment” they said was booked in the other week… but that’s not what was said on that call 🤣 It was inferred I needed to call before my next script. Wasn’t given a date or time like you’d get for an appointment. Whole lot more mess…

Gave in an emailed my local MLAs about the GP appointment issues! It’s disgusting we can’t BOOK an appointment in advance to look after our health. It shouldn’t be a case of who can dial fastest gets an appointment nor should people be forced to get up early when they simply can’t or miss work…

Also I want to point out that dependence on a medication is different than addiction. I forget to take meds and feel for it. My body needs the meds as it doesn’t work right. I adhere to the dosages I’m given, in fact for some I take less than the max amount unless really bad to have that buffer…

Trying to figure why I’ve been feeling so shitty and realise it must be the med I’m coming off. It’s an antidepressant that at a very low dose can help with pain but shouldn’t affect MH. I am on another one for that and have been since 2016. This second one I was put on in 22/23…
