Since it's banned books week, Did you know that Goosebumps books were challenged in the US because they were deemed too scary for kids? This happened back in the 90s. #Goosebumps #Bannedbooksweek

Today, after reading the apology Michael Huang made, I cannot be in the position to forgive him as it is impossible for me to do so. As a result, it feels right to me that I drop BFDI as a result, unless anything changes. It feels like it's the best for me anyways. #BFDI

So, going forward, I think it might be time for me to see what kinds of other studios I need to look at. Any ideas?

I do also hear some people saying that the company will probably face a lot of debt. I do agree, but we will see what happens next. I'll give it at least a year or two for this to be a failure. I won't forget what happened this year. I can't let Paramount sweep things under the rug.

The best way to enjoy our entertainment now is to take a look at independent media. Things like movies, shows, video games, music, and even books. Even though I like shows made by Glitch Productions and the like, I also happen to enjoy Homestar Runner, Happy Tree Friends, Ena, and several others.

Mostly, this merger is all about control of our media and eliminating competition. Sure, I have seen Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon beefing with each other, but with this merger, I feel like now that they have now just become siblings by force.

I could even remember last year that I decided to give Weapons (A horror film directed by Zach Cregger), a watch. It was a great horror film that I could watch again. I'm not sure if I'm willing to do reviews on movies from WB or Paramount anymore, given this information.

Gavan Prior @neonfany2k.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I would even remember seeing horror films from them too. But now, seeing this happen right in front of my eyes, I don't think I'll even see Paramount the same way again, especially after the whole Paramount/Skydance merger that happened last year. I even posted this.

I used to actually watch Nickelodeon and Nick Jr back in my days as a kid. I would look forward to watching some shows like Blue's Clues, Dora The Explorer, Yo Gabba Gabba, Little Bear, Spongebob Squarepants, and several other shows that I know and love. It was good times.

And it was all because of California Governor Gavin Newsom and Connecticut AG William Tong bent the knee to the monopoly of Paramount. And this is what direction we are heading towards. Very wrongful choice that they had made over there. It doesn't even surprise me at the fullest.

I still remember this network, even to this day. It's sad that it's now been shut down. I will never forget Sprout Diner. Anyone else remember this?

Gavan Prior @neonfany2k.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

I would even watch James the Cat, Pingu, and also Sesame Street too. But then in 2009, I would end up watching PBS Sprout less and less, and this was during my Pre-teen years. I would watch Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, and even ABC Family, Just to watch America's Funniest Home Videos.

I want to say this because I have been silent about this topic for a really long time. I've watched this back then when I was a kid before and after school. I would even watch The Goodnight Show before heading to bed. Make Way For Noddy was one of my favorite TV shows of all time.

I could've never imagined working with such a spectacular & skilled crew, making something so gruesome & beautiful, which is what I love from the horror genre. So proud of our team & cast. And to those waiting, hope you enjoy, or at the very least, hope it makes you flinch. #knightsofguinevere

I'm sorry Attorney General, but you have disappointed me for caving to Paramount. What you have done will never be forgotten by me, and everyone else who had been on the front lines of trying to get this merger shut down. Shame on you. #Blockthemerger

This should be the final nail in the Democratic establishment’s coffin. “Centrists” like Newsom just showed their whole ass just like Ed Sheeran did; all he’s doing is helping strengthen Trump’s unpopular and collapsing regime… and Trump will still kicking Newsom while he’s grovelling.

We cannot repeat the mistakes from 2012. We must act now to fight back against censorship and to protect alternatives to big tech like Bluesky, Mastodon, Newgrounds, Sheezy Art, and several others. I'm not going to sit there and do nothing about it. Everyone needs to know about this.

What happens if this bill passes? Fair use will turn to dust. This means no more fan art, fanfics, reactions to your favorite media, or even everything else in particular. Newgrounds could even be forced to go out of business. Think about that for a minute. It's a tool that's ripe for abuse.
