decided to actually test a smaller and bigger size for the seadragon bracelet, which is in addition to the standard 7 inch size. ends up what works best design wise is 6 1/4 and 7 3/4 inches instead of rounding to the nearest inch. #chainmaille #handmadebracelets #seadragon #nautical

a new chainmaille bracelet design has landed! made with the dragonscale weave in stainless steel, it's woven in angular steps which reminds me of seadragons. the beaded version has glass seed beads in a transparent medium green with a rainbow finish. closes with a nautical spring ring clasp.

the tie portion is complete, now just need to make the necklace portion (probably a jpl chain). woven together with the dragonscale chainmaille weave. all the rings are stainless steel, so it's got some weight. #chainmaille

a couple tests for the dragonscale weave with rings breaching out of containment on the sides. liking the look, just not sure if i'll end up using the design for bracelets as intended. may use for other instances, though. #chainmaille #jewelry

i'm been there a lot! usually things develop from experimentation, or i'll start with a general idea and it shifts frequently before i'm satisfied with the result. with this dice, though, i've done enough enough jelly cubes that i knew i had to plan ahead to save myself a big headache lol 😆🤓

thanks! there was definitely a lot of steps involved. basically started with illustrating something to create a paper cube mock up, then figuring out the layers that'll build on each other. seeing it before i started putting the rings together definitely helped.
