Tried to go vote early today since it starts October 14th in TN... but the polling location for my area decided "nah, we're just doing 22nd-24th". They had senior citizen bingo instead. Only 3 days of early voting, 2 of which are weekdays. And Nov 3rd is a Tues. Yeah, why's turnout low hmmmmm????

Very costly as well. We benefitted from the large scale production before, but small boutique runs would be prohibitively expensive. Plus, iirc, there are environmental concerns that would make it tougher. I could be wrong there though.

Wow, that's interesting. My assumption about the battery was way off. I assumed it only charged the battery when the console was on or something. As for why they did this, my theory would be related to internet time sync. In lieu of trusting NTP over dial-up, they played it super safe.
