The NeoDoc library consists of two parts: a parser and an output generator. The parser returns an AST. The generator applies templates to an AST to produce output. A default set of HTML templates is built in, but you can use whatever you want.

The NeoDoc spec includes requirements for default HTML output. The goal being to avoid the variations inherent in Markdown. I wrote a quick posts about using rust's scraper create for the tests to avoid issues with blank spaces and attribute order. al9000.com/rust/misc/co...

work extracting the parser continues. it's mostly about writing tests. there's like 100 just for the inline code spans.

ok. we're live. welcome to the start of neodoc.style a work-in-public, work-in-progress way to create content in the #atproto #atmosphere for feeds and sites there's a bunch of work to do before the tech is integrated. you can get an idea of what it's all about on the site in the mean time
