Day 5: Moon Speedran this one last night to great effect, I'm pretty pleased with it. I especially like the slightly fucked up anatomy all scrunched up to the front with a lot of torso in the back. It really emphasises the moth side of the design. #smaugust #smaugustcircle

Another Smaugust attempt? I think so. Day 1: Afterburner I was going for a sort of dolphin + pterosaur look in the shape of a fighter jet. It has specialized organs under each wing that store and then expel heat to speed through the air. How does that work? Idk. #smaugustcircle

Final stage for Browt now! This one was tough and I'm still not too sure about it. The design mixes the Indonesian Garuda spirit, a flowering coffee plant, Pencak Silat martial arts attire and the green jungle fowl. Designed with grass/electric or grass/fighting in mind.

Speculative final evolution for Gecqua. Out of any of the strarters Gecqua is probably the most likely to end up humanoid, I imagine a water/psychic type with a hindu-inspired dancer theme.

Starting the year off by scratching the fakemon itch. Orrian Celebi: In early concepts Celebi was designed after Kokopelli, a flute playing nature spirit who is a very familiar symbol for anyone in the southwest US where Pokemon Colosseum's Orre Region is based.
