nemo1342.bsky.social @nemo1342.bsky.social · 13/09/2026I say this with love, and as a fellow cat owner... just move your cat. Not to be dramatic but cats are abusive partners. They'll eat your face when you're dead and they'll take everything you let them. 002
nemo1342.bsky.social @nemo1342.bsky.social · 09/09/2026Leaving women aside entirely, the people we imagine others to be when we're young are so amazing, and then time shows us the reality and its disappointing. One of the jobs of becoming an adult is learning to love people again, even after you come to know them. 060
nemo1342.bsky.social @nemo1342.bsky.social · 07/09/2026This can't possibly really happen. This guy is going to do a little reading on chimp fight tactics and suddenly think better of it. Chimps... uhh... reliably target and destroy vulnerable external organs... 141
nemo1342.bsky.social @nemo1342.bsky.social · 27/08/2026Changing the name of the gulf is super dumb, but think about what you're saying here. Do you want Apple or Google deciding what things should be called? No, probably not. They should certainly be deferring to the US Board of Geographic Names (or a similar UN body if it exists, I suppose). 110

nemo1342.bsky.social @nemo1342.bsky.social · 07/05/2026So garbage! People used to just routinely kill each other on the side of the road because it was probably safer to do so than not. 010
nemo1342.bsky.social @nemo1342.bsky.social · 07/05/2026An alternative, and more hopeful theory, is that it's actually only relatively recently that massive generational traumas have become infrequent enough that humans have been able to start making genuine generational improvements. We might only be a few generations out from being in good shape. 000
nemo1342.bsky.social @nemo1342.bsky.social · 07/05/2026This is such a common story, and I think it's kind of amazing that human history is quite old now, and probably every generation has tracked this kind of improvement, and yet people are still so garbage. 210
