The pair grow up in a small town, until Haruka's 18th birthday, when mysterious figures appear with the truth of Haruka's birth and the reality of multiple 'otherworlds', sending Haruka on a journey of self-discovery, and Reed on an adventure to stop the dark forces plotting against her sister.

Finally satisfied with this project, so I can start sharing it... Here's the leading ladies of my upcoming urban fantasy series, The Otherworldly Adventures of Haruka and Reed. Haruka Macher, the adopted little sister (with a dark secret) of Reed Macher, aspiring investigative journalist.

Haruka Macher, main character of The Otherworldly Adventures of Haruka and Reed, in a fancy elven high society outfit of a pink/black/white button up shirt showing a bit of midriff, with lacy sleeve cuffs and a cravat, tight black shorts, pink kneesocks and black pumps with red heels. She has glasses and a heart shaped face with black hair done up in space buns dyed white.

Haruka again wearing a short jeans overall dress, blue, pink, and white sports bra, white knee-high tubesocks with pink stripe at the top, and blue, white, and pink high heeled high top Converse sneakers. Her arms are bare, revealing a panther tattoo on her right upper arm, and a snake tattoo spiralling down her left arm, which is making an 'up yours' gesture. Her hair's done in a loose bun in the back with her fringe framing her face.

Reed Macher, main character of The Otherworldly Adventures of Haruka and Reed. She has shoulder length dark brown hair, and is wearing a red flatcap, with a playing card stuck in the brim, a red button up shirt with yellow and olive trim, white lacy cuffs, and an olive cravat. She's also wearing tight olive shorts with red trim, white kneesocks, and black pumps with red heels. She's standing next to a stack of books, holding a notepad in one hand while she touches the bill of her flatcap, looking back out of the corner of her eye.

Reed wearing her outfit from the previous image but now with a thick red knee-lenght overcoat, brandishing a snubnose revolver.

...and WHY aren't you in uniform?!

000

nemilybd.bsky.social @nemilybd.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

Yes indeed, preferably a tight warm bear hug from behind so can receive lots of neck kissies and ear nibbles and whispered sweet nothings and the occasional raspberry or tickle if they get too squirmy.

Small tornado-y world XD. We got lucky i guess and were in a bit of a gap. Just north and south of us got really blasted. my brother was at the petshop and said the transformer on the powerline across the street from it exploded so he wound up having to shelter there for a bit till it passed.

Shery: I... I really like your hand and your hair's so pretty... what's having horns like? I have my antennae which can lie flat so won't catch on things like horns, but they can get squished and bent so I guess horns are sort of nicer in that way, huh?

Only thing I didn't like about the RE3 remake was Jill's updated outfit from the original RE3 being a dlc instead of an unlockable. Granted I got both RE2/3 remakes and their dlcs on a big steam sale but... it's the principle of the thing. XD

Heads up because I know SOMEONE out there is going to fall for it, but if you use vgen for commissions, please be weary of the "I accidentally reported your account" scam. Once I declined this commission, they DM'd me with the whole routine, but it started off with this.

Thanks ^^ I used to draw *constantly* as a kid before constant "you'll never make anything of yourself like that" parental pressure killed my passion for it... :( (I still make art, just literary XD). Some of my fave WIPs to date ^^ (names and artists in the alt texts)

I *love* getting the sketches and wips and such from commissions, but I always feel like if I ask for them too much i'll come off as demanding progress updates and like "no just collecting more for my folder of like almost 400 wips now XD" I just find every step of the creation process wonderful ^^

I hate to sound conspiratorial, but I've noticed in the past year or so a troubling trend of trolls and bots accusing most any real human art of being AI no matter how obviously not AI it is. IMO it's to dispirit real artists and tear them down while trying to build up slop. It's insidious...

The "her" who waltzed in seeming like "the one" until after a year or so, you realize she's completely torn down your self-esteem and is trying to drive you away from any other connection in your life, like your friends and even your family, trying to make you completely dependent on them.
