It's not at all an exaggeration to say that the first time I really played a game that actually asked me to aim at people who dodge was in 2020 and I sucked so bad I avoided it as much as possible in favour of PvE

I wish I could aim so Deadlock wouldn't be an exercise in me getting my ass kicked while my friends have fun. I didn't grow up with any online multiplayer games at all so I feel like I just can never catch up to the average player 'cause everyone's played shooters for years...

#E33spoilers The curator, from Expedition 33. I was hesitant to post this since any art I could do of this game pales in comparison to the original work. I actually barely fought this boss first time around. I did almost everything else in Act 3 first so it just died immediately. #NemesiArt

Some advice in advance- Act 3 is designed around you going straight to the final boss. You can and should do other stuff first, but try not to over-level too much or you'll end up one shotting it like I did first time around.

I also did a low effort shiny for this one. These are really REALLY annoying to do since the way I do shading is picking the colours by eye and painting them on directly. A high effort shiny would require redoing the ENTIRE shading step for the colour I want to change.

For #CassetteBeasts inktober thing, my take on an Archangel as incarnation of fear. I feel this would be more interesting if I was any good at animation- the idea is that it would use its hands to make impossibly accurate silhouettes of common phobias. #NemesiArt @byttenstudio.bsky.social

Aside from its face, Omniaphobia's body is pitch black, which it commonly uses to its advantage by distorting itself into more frightful silhouettes targeting the fears of those who confront it.

For what it's worth- if you're just looking for an application that lets you talk with your friends, you need to be looking for ones that make you host the server yourself. If the user base is decentralized then third party verification can't be enforced.

I don't like Discord as a company, but applications like Discord only work when there's mass adoption. If there's mass adoption, then they become the target of legislation like this no matter how consumer friendly the application is.

Obviously Discord could have fought more for their user's privacy and didn't because selling more data is more profitable, but I don't think it has enough political standing to actually meaningfully change legislation on this anyway.

I hate to say it but this won't be the thing that kills Discord. Discord is enforcing age verification because it is legally required to do so, any alternatives will inevitably do the same eventually lest they tempt legal action.
