IainB @nelgonde.bsky.social · 14/10/2026According to the FT, Russia are offering help to Trump with Iran in return. Can you imagine believing that... 010
IainB @nelgonde.bsky.social · 13/10/2026I don't get them. I think Radio 1 is complicit in the blandness of the music churned out on daytime radio. It needs a 90s style overhaul. I've ended up listening to Kerrang despite not thinking of myself as a rocker. But great current bands like The Warning and Don Broco aren't played anywhere else. 000
IainB @nelgonde.bsky.social · 10/10/2026I didn't think there were any younger, better off voters... apart from nepo-babies... 000
IainB @nelgonde.bsky.social · 28/09/2026I'm assuming your numbers for royal stories are massive because it's so boring. 000
IainB @nelgonde.bsky.social · 26/09/2026Where are the balanced politicians in Brazil? They all seem like cranks! 001
IainB @nelgonde.bsky.social · 21/09/2026Honourable mention to Sophie Lloyd, she's great too. They're will be guitar solos in all her songs :-) 000
IainB @nelgonde.bsky.social · 21/09/2026The Amazons - Georgia. They've got the best contemporary British guitarist at the moment. They should be all over the radio, but BBC radio stations prefer nepo and trust fund bands. 100
IainB @nelgonde.bsky.social · 20/09/2026I think it shouldn't be just about Ed Davey. Lib Dems have 70-odd MPs, what have they been doing? 000
IainB @nelgonde.bsky.social · 19/09/2026Just like the other nondom Brexit billionaires, Dyson, Bamford and Rothmere. Probably promoting crypto too... 021
IainB @nelgonde.bsky.social · 17/09/2026Austerity throttled public investment, Brexit throttled private investment... and the public still think that the Tories are better for the economy. 000
IainB @nelgonde.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Mad cow disease/CJD, put me off burgers, sausages, mince, meat pies for life. 011
IainB @nelgonde.bsky.social · 11/09/2026Those papers have always been trash, the government needs to return the bbc back to a trustworthy organisation instead of the cowardly dumbed-down mess it has become. 000
IainB @nelgonde.bsky.social · 08/09/2026The problem is the glass ceiling of Brexit, that competitive disadvantage always prevents them expanding to their nearest international markets 000
IainB @nelgonde.bsky.social · 08/09/2026The far right got 44% in the Alabama of Germany. I think this is all overblown 001
IainB @nelgonde.bsky.social · 04/09/2026Archie Norman did blame Labour for the consequences of Brexit 🙄 010
IainB @nelgonde.bsky.social · 31/08/2026Agree, can't give the rest of the leadership a pass. There should be red lines, the Israeli government have zero. 000
IainB @nelgonde.bsky.social · 31/08/2026You need a follow up for their immigration policy. What a sh*tshow that was 000
IainB @nelgonde.bsky.social · 26/08/2026One thing I've never understood is the deference towards MPs from elite school backgrounds. That insulation and probable nepotism is a lot more unpersuasive than anyone from a regular background. I was hardly born into hardship either. 000
IainB @nelgonde.bsky.social · 12/08/2026That's a pretty bad headspace. You've achieved something most people could never do yet you're still full of negativity. 240
IainB @nelgonde.bsky.social · 12/08/2026I have vague memories of Phippa Forrester on TV on a beach in Cornwall. All a bit random. 000
IainB @nelgonde.bsky.social · 10/08/2026I do not have the confidence that the US administration will allow them to have any more US-built ones 010
IainB @nelgonde.bsky.social · 07/08/2026I lived in Grantham for a bit where the voting was 50% Tory, 25% Farage and found it hilarious that both the local MPs defected to Labour. There was a lot of minority blaming and brain drain. 020
IainB @nelgonde.bsky.social · 06/08/2026The music is definitely there, it's just that the radio is worse. I think that bands like The Warning and Don Broco would've been huge in the days of MTV and when Radio 1 liked electric guitars 010
IainB @nelgonde.bsky.social · 03/08/2026Reminds me of this youtu.be/qLrnkK2YEcE?...youtu.beThe Avalanches - Frontier Psychiatrist (Official HD Video)YouTube video by TheAvalanchesVEVO 100
IainB @nelgonde.bsky.social · 22/07/2026...and Chinese brands are flooding the international markets... 010
IainB @nelgonde.bsky.social · 21/07/2026If the public stops believing in following the rules, much like shoplifting, it's a slippery slope. Another thing to blame Boris Johnson & austerity for... 030
IainB @nelgonde.bsky.social · 21/07/2026From yours and other recent articles, I'm fine with current tax levels, but the biggest issue seems to be basic enforcement. Surely it would one of the biggest wins to invest more in the HMRC and other enforcement organisations. 140
IainB @nelgonde.bsky.social · 16/07/2026Reeves has been just as much of a disappointment as Starmer, which considering the lower starting point is pretty bad. 000
IainB @nelgonde.bsky.social · 14/07/2026I think you need to give the VIP Lane its full name: the Michael Gove VIP Lane 041
IainB @nelgonde.bsky.social · 14/07/2026It's like the LibDems strategy is to say as little as possible 020
