Blacksad has some amazing colors. The comic cover below is one of my favorites, I couldn't stop looking at it. While reading the comic I would stop and study the color schemes. Also, it's a good story!

It's been over a year since I've done any drawings with pencils. I usually favour pens and line work instead of shading, but I went back to the basics with this one. Taking a second to step back and look at the depth of your shadows helps a lot! #watercolorsketch

This may sound weird, but my favorite part of drawing is seeing the sketch phase slowly becoming a detailed subject. Figure drawing has always been my favorite which is why I love looking through unfinished sketches. (the last two are finished, posting later)
