So our HVAC system exploded this afternoon. I wish I was kidding. Loud boom. Fireball. Smoke. ....and this was the new HVAC system we had to install back in March. Less than 6 months old. Now we wait on multiple inspections, insurance adjusters, etc. Can this year be over now?

I considered myself lucky that I have the pleasure of working in the professional mascot world. Last night was something truly special, being the end of the home season for us, and watching my mascots give their all for the fans. I am truly blessed to have spend almost a decade with these guys.

New aquarium hobby hasn't started out so good. My big tank had a massive anaerobic bacteria issue & killed 80% of the stock, snails incl. So, the survivors moved to a small rescue tank while I put the big tank through another nitrogen cycle. I added new plants & decor while I wait! Cats enjoy it tho

I've loved dolphins since I was a kid, so getting to spend some up-close and personal time with one was a dream come true. Neely was really fun to meet, very playful and wanting to interact (she could have left at any time). Such a charming encounter.

I adopted a new friend from the very talented @songdogstudio.bsky.social; meet Sunsett! He was a little nervous about the trip home, curled up on top of my daughter's sleeping bag. Then he discovered the view and now he can't get enough! The constant excited trilling is getting a bit annoying tho...

WTF. I'm on both Wellbutrin & Zoloft. Without those, I *DO NOT* function as a human being. In fact, 3-5 days without Zoloft & I start suffering from massive panic attacks. Not everyone's brain chemistry works the same, some of us NEED those SSRIs if you expect our brains to act like a neurotypical.

Just had to replace our HVAC unit today after it died on Monday. Ouch, that took a hit out of finances. Still going to TFF next week but REALLY hoping sales are decent, as I've got a several-thousand dollar overhead to cover.
