iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

For one to bestow wisdom, one must need to have been wise. I am not wise, but I thank you.

I engaged. Now I must retreat. aaaaa

We would not have those cute little hiragana and katakana characters if it weren't for a few scholars and monks feeling a little woozy at the ink stick.

In terms of the differences between the original symbols and these new ones, even if they are military insignia, countries across the globe have been subject to this over time. We humans get a little lazy and language, over time, often gets more and more simplified. See how Japanese developed.

I've got my own little beef with the symbols only because they are a bit too silly for my tastes. If they are military insignia, then they need to be simplified, because insignia on flags NEED to be seen at vast distances. Basic shapes help identify faraway troops and prevent friendly fire.

I have my doubts that it has anything to do with whiteness because this show was written and produced by the same co-creators of the original series and by Sehaj Sethi, a non-white person with credentials and ample writing skill.

I haven't seen this new series and I do not plan to, but I trust your judgment here. It is three hundred years into the future, right? Simplification of symbology is a natural progression of language and culture over long periods of time.

It is simplified. I do not feel the need to engage.

Ahh. I do not plan on watching it. My realm of focus remains on the original series.

100

Where was it changed?

I give beforecare, middlecare, and aftercare as a nurturing dom and power bottom.

I feel like alt text is used to train AI models.

000

That's not a boring answer, because black onyx is what I have embedded in my engagement ring.

Now we shall write stories in our alt texts.

I had a dream this morning that we got an OVA backstory for Hantengu. I woke up feeling disappointed.

There are few English dubs I can tolerate. Fullmetal Alchemist in dub is spectacular. Death Note in dub is good. Hellsing in dub is amazing. And I had watched all of Naruto and Naruto Shippuden in dub ... it's tolerable, and I know one of the voice actors.

One day, we will get an animated Hairo. Would be very cool to finally see his Blood Demon Art on screen.

They all have personality, haha.

How difficult is it to forge a perfect circle like this and then sharpen?

000

Haha, I had a wildly different idea in my head that involved some sort of sci-fi kink, like using time travel and the fifth dimension to play with yourself. Now you can't convince me there isn't a kink that exists of that in any sci-fi universe with higher dimensional (sexual) beings.

What is "subspace" in the context of kinks?

I saw so many more cool things there. What is your favourite mineral or rock?

Rest in peace, Margaret Hamilton, the software engineer who made the Apollo missions possible. Science will always be important. - "Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light." - Poetry by Dylan Thomas

I have enough rocks for it.

Was a kid in a candy store at the Rock & Gem Expo. Had a good time. #geology #rocks #minerals #rockandgemshow

If not Rosé, then try the Carbonara type.

My recommendation is the Rosé Buldak, with egg and milk to cut the spice. It is decadent.

Let me know how you like it. The cheese ones are okay, not my favourite, but if you are a fan of cheesey noodles, you might like it.

You are making me want Buldak. How dare you?

❤️💚💙💛 💜 🤍🖤

I am blissfully unaware of more than half of these things.

... I can't watch Demon Slayer in dub for this, among other reasons.

Writers like us need references for our fiction, but we don't have to be fond of everything we research... I've been in some dirty rabbit holes.

Now it is time to introduce you to the wide, wide world of Asian martial arts, mythology, and philosophy. Many of the things in A:LTA are based on real things, with some artistic license. Iroh's lessons aren't just character quirks. They are, until you read some Buddhist sutras.
