Downloaded superwhisper today and was very impressed. Easy setup, intuitive UX and powerful outputs that have already saved me a solid 20 mins of writing time. Shoutout to @neilsuperduper.bsky.social on the A+ product build. Looking forward to exploring all the functionality soon.

Seeing the replies to that cartoon made me realize how one sided the politics on here are.

New intro for superwhisper with music by @novikoffdesign.bsky.social What would you add to the animation?

Totally agreed. A lot of Apple's UI/UX decisions actually suck! They guide much of the design world and people gobble it up regardless of quality. Also, good to keep in mind- Apple is building for their users. You're building for yours!

You should consider the design of cmd tab, even a single activation of the shortcut switches you to last app without any UI displayed. Needs to be held down for UI to be displayed. I think this is pretty good interaction design, personally wouldn't try to innovate on it.

Yep, just its slower to switch hand position than cmd+tab so always going back to the faster system.

This is great, these icon packs are sweet! If I could cycle through with repeated press like cmd+tab I'd be using this more.

I was tossing around the idea of doing a Black Friday deal. I'm not sure if I'm going to this year. I'm kind of late to the jump as it is and sales have been really good without discounting.

New design for the Homerow App icon. Which one do you prefer?

Awesome - I am a big user of Contexts if you're familiar. One suggestion I would make for your app is multiple shortcut presses should cycle through the tabs rather than toggling the whole window. Recently made this change in SW for mode selection and its awesome.

Just went and bought this, what are you using as a keyboard shortcut?

Looks like trash but similar concept. Much faster to navigate.

Grid is nice. Believe Karabiner or Keyboard Maestro does something similar.

I'd also reduce the bulge on this personally.

Right would be my pick, or go with a gunmetal grey for the metal portion of left. OR you could try and reduce the gloss look on the left one and give it a "painted black" look. But the chrome look is just so good.
