• Thickened the tail to also help with bubbles and reduce the risk to the thin tip during demolding. We poured a mold last night, and our shop possum is about to head to the workroom and see how it went!

Percy v2 (the lighter gray one, not as shiny) has a smoother surface finish. We also: • Fattened up the whole possum! He is delightfully rounder 🫶 And scaled up a tiny bit! • Adjusted the angles, thicknesses, and lengths of the biggest teeth to help with bubbles. • Managed to preserve the toes!

We've been refining the post-processing of our masters, and what better model to try it out on than our beloved Percival Possum? Percy v1 had some surface finish issues that created texture inconsistencies, and the sculpt faced regular bubble challenges with his teeth.

Hello friends of the Fiends! We're sorry for how quiet it's been here lately. We have a LOT of life stuff going on right now, but we are still quietly working in the background as we're able 🩷💜 Posting some progress pics of one of our projects in the comments!

It will still be a while before this critter joins our production queue. Folks who have been following our slow evolution might remember a squish poll we did on X near the very beginning of our journey. The people said "BUG," and we are finally on track to delivering ✨

Needful Fiends (Unofficial Sort-of Hiatus) @needfulfiends.com · 26/04/2026

That being said, we try to work on something each day. This upcoming Fiendly (printed here as a rough prototype that still needs a little sculpting) has been a WIP for two years. On the days we don't have time/energy to commit to more intensive projects, we squeeze in a few minutes of sculpting🖤

3163

Needful Fiends (Unofficial Sort-of Hiatus) @needfulfiends.com · 26/04/2026

And that means making sure that the foundation of creating them (ourselves) is in a good enough place to give everything the attention it deserves 🖤

Life is still coming for us from every angle, but we persist! At this point the shop is on a sort of unofficial hiatus while we deal with Life Stuff and continue to work on all of our current WIPs. We want to craft quality products that can be trusted and cherished by our customers.

Our Shop Possum had to handle the update if we had any hope of ever getting it out into the world 😅

We're still here, but very behind. We still owe everyone a detailed announcement with updates, which we're hoping to make soon-ish 😅 This week, our area was anticipating some rough winter weather and much of our time was dedicated to making sure our home was properly prepared for the low temps.

Going to have to reuse a few boxes to pack some orders. I'm out of one size for larger items. But, I only reuse ones in good condition, I never reuse anything with another shop's branding, including unique colors. And I'll never give U-Line a cent but there's at least one in the reuse pile.

Thank you everyone SO much for checking out our "Insanely Discounted Impromptu We-Need-To-Start-Fresh" Sale! We aren't likely to run discounts that deep very often. Y'all helped us make room for all the Fiends we're hoping to make in 2026 and got some good deals in the process! 💖
