I'm in town for NeurlPS all week. Wow this conference is biiiig. Anyone I know (or don't know!) up for a drink? #NeurIPS #NeurIPS2025 #mlsky
A selfie of me looking quizzically excited, in the poster hall of NeurIPS 2025, standing under the Deep Learning section sign hanging from the roof

Absolutely, it's soo handy! Here's a slide on DuckDB's seamless data exporting from a talk that @saubury.bsky.social put together recently
A slide from a talk titled 'Exporting the results of our analysis' with a three duck.sql() calls that each have a COPY TO DuckDB SQL query to export a Python DuckDB Relation to different file formats: CSV, PARQUET, and JSON. and then two more indicating parameters that can be applied for customizing the output of JSON and CSV

Heard the good word about #DuckDB? Wondering how to use it to accelerate your data science/analytics & data/software engineering projects? Getting Started with DuckDB might be for you! Simon & I have made a practical guide full of hands-on examples, incl both #python & #rstats packt.link/byKYt
The front cover of the book Getting Started with DuckDB: A practical guide for accelerating your data science, data analytics, and data engineering workflows, by Simon Aubury and Ned Letcher, published by Packt

The cover has a photo of some contemporary architecture: a large sports pavilion with reflective windows and a long wavy roof line that looks like a sine wave (it has nothing to do with DuckDB)
