Looking at my two most recent artworks with Necro Godzilla and Hedorah and I find myself so proud of how far I’ve come. It’s so hard to be nice to myself, but this time I’m taking the chance to do so

One of my first all digital paintings. Maybe 2016-17 ish considering that would be the timeline of me seeing Shin Godzilla. I was still finding my identity as a digital artist, so It’s interesting to see

Did this as a part of a challenge where we draw our FanGoji in the style of the Shin Godzilla poster. Had fun doing it for NecroGodzilla

Captioned: “God is in his heaven. For now.”

I can feel it in the air that people are feeling particularly down about everything. I find myself taking things day by day and remember that we’re all in this together and doing our best. I appreciate my moots and I’m happy to share my art. Keep fighting everyone 💚

I don’t want to presume to say that NecroGodzills is a victim of Hiroshima or Nagasaki, because that feels disrespectful in a way I can’t explain. But he is most certainly a victim of H-bomb testing and survived horrendous odds to live on and keep fighting

One thing I want to show is that NecroGodzilla would not exist without the usage of H-bombs. He is our punishment for war-like ways and a reminder that we are small in the face of the natural world. A reminder of a tragic past and hope for a better future.
