The ravens 🐦‍⬛ woke me at 425 to let me know Felicity 🦊 was visiting. Literally first thing I saw was this gal. I was in and out getting water, made coffee etc then we sat and watched the sun come up together. She touched my foot while I was sipping coffee. Cold nose she had. Hung for about an hour.

These tiny babies filled my heart after it was crushed yesterday when I witnessed a bear was killed beside my house for simply existing along the river. Town sucks some days. Happy to be at the cabin today where we coexist happily and there are not the overreactions of yesterday.

Overcame my fear/anxiety of this new beast on our steep property this morning. This is far from the xr200r I used as a young woman…somehow the thought of 4 wheels on the steep grade was scarier in advance to what I knew. The 1000cc engine contributed greatly, but #ididit ! #quad #cabinlife

This young man is OFFICIALLY finished high school! Yesterday he made his Capstone presentation and is 100% complete his work and was given his grad hoodie. Sodelhti translates to “they honoured me” in Dakelh. A private crossing the stage on the 13th has been arranged by his inclusion team. 👨‍🎓

My #autistic son is in the final stages of school. For the last two years he has been home due to lack of supports. Foods 12 is his last course for his Dogwood. This is today’s lab, a meat & veg meal. He injected chicken with butter sauce and used Indian spices on roasted veg. #yummy #learnathome 🇨🇦

This brings back horrible memories of our active shooting incident a few years back and our special needs child eloping from school and missing directly before. Worst couple hours of my life until he was located safe. Daughter and I were in the lockdown.
