This is "HAI", an OC I create years ago for a thesis, and now I rebranded her because I still love her design (eveb if it is a simple one) #hai #nebulamothart #nebulamothartoc #referencesheet

I'm a very small artist, and I know that, but sometimes I wonder how many people work with me that knows me in here but not in real life. Or vice-versa, how many people do I follow here and see in my work, that I don't know are the same person? Thinking this is fun

Saiber - VGEN COMMS ARE 🌟OPEN🌟 @nebulamothart.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

And one day, she was looking for some twigs in the forest, and ahe found angel!charlie by accident. Angel!charlie didn't run, but vaggie did, so charlie followed vaggie to her home, and they start to live together. (I don't know what is a comfort story, so this will end bad lmao)

Saiber - VGEN COMMS ARE 🌟OPEN🌟 @nebulamothart.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

I was thinking about a chaggie au about vaggie being a human and living in a village were she doesn't have any friends in, so people think she was a witch (this is like an old time), and one day the village lynched her, so she left living by herself in the woods. +

Mavuika feels like... a mary sue, and it's sad because her design is amazing and I love her gameplay with the motorcycle.

100

Saiber - VGEN COMMS ARE 🌟OPEN🌟 @nebulamothart.bsky.social · 27/06/2026

Do anything without even feel tired. I need to see a powerful woman who is also a human, who feels tired, who regrets her decisions, who messed up sometimes. Mavuika feels like this trope of hero who doesn't allow the bad things to win over their emotions, but I don't want that

100

Saiber - VGEN COMMS ARE 🌟OPEN🌟 @nebulamothart.bsky.social · 27/06/2026

Mavuika don't need us to do things, she is capable of resolving problems by herself, and I appreciate that. But my issue with her is that in the story, her problems feels like she is talking about her problems as something that doesn't matter, and devs write her as someone who knows everything and +

100

Saiber - VGEN COMMS ARE 🌟OPEN🌟 @nebulamothart.bsky.social · 27/06/2026

It's feels like her entire character is just used for "us" (as players) to feel kinda relevant. But I don't want to feel relevant, I want to see chars acting like they matter in the story I'm playing. Mavuika's case is kinda different in this matter+

100

Saiber - VGEN COMMS ARE 🌟OPEN🌟 @nebulamothart.bsky.social · 27/06/2026

And how is her written? Even when she is a powerful woman in story, she acts like a damsel in distress most of the time, we know she can save herself and save anyone else if she needs to, but the devs simply paly her dirty by making her act like she needs constant help from us (as the TB)

Saiber - VGEN COMMS ARE 🌟OPEN🌟 @nebulamothart.bsky.social · 27/06/2026

What kind of woman I don't like in gacha games? Firefly from HSR or Mavuika for GI, their problems feels so... unreal because of the way their characters are built, I know, per example, that Firefly is a tragic char, yet I don't feel the pity I'm supposed to feel for her because how she is written

100

Saiber - VGEN COMMS ARE 🌟OPEN🌟 @nebulamothart.bsky.social · 27/06/2026

I also like The Dahlia from HSR, and I know she was kinda "sexy bait", but I like how she is a crazy and unhinged character with goals, she is also a flaw char, she is not supposed to be a model to follow and yet she feels right to enjoy.

100

Saiber - VGEN COMMS ARE 🌟OPEN🌟 @nebulamothart.bsky.social · 27/06/2026

They're just... nothing to me. So, what type of women I do love in gacha? Collei from GI is a good example, I like her background story and how she is a flaw character with a correlation between her way of thinking and acting, knowing her past. She is not a "sweet" char for no reason.

100

Saiber - VGEN COMMS ARE 🌟OPEN🌟 @nebulamothart.bsky.social · 27/06/2026

This happens to me with some blonde men in gacha that falls under the "prince" or "hero" archetype too, it's feels so plain and boring to me. The reason I say blonde it's because most gachas do this to them, for some reason, not so many are villians or crazy characters

110

Saiber - VGEN COMMS ARE 🌟OPEN🌟 @nebulamothart.bsky.social · 27/06/2026

Is like, most women in gacha taste like plain rice, there's a few ones I love because they feel like humans and not only a "pretty furniture in the background". And no, is not because of their body type or sexualization, is their whole archetype
