A 1920s "Junior" crystal radio, made of a varnished wooden box with a tuning dial, thumb screw connectors and a cat's whisker/crystal diode detector - sits on a desk next to a breadboard, wires, resistors and bits of tin foil. 1920s era crystal tins sit in the background.

Here it is plugged into a new "chaotic triangle" circuit I'm working on. Galena crystal swapped out for one from Wheal Clinton, Flushing, Cornwall. Those screw connectors are 100 years old and work great. Everything works great on it to be honest, after a bit of a clean up.
