Ben @nebkreb.bsky.social · 39mStarting to create more. Good slipped pass to MLS and a good cross in. Keep pushing. 000
Ben @nebkreb.bsky.social · 47mMerino needs to do better tthere. Has the ball at the top of the box and does nothing, then a frustration foul picks up a yellow. 000
Ben @nebkreb.bsky.social · 55mAnd Merino should do better with that header too. Unmarked in the box. 000
Ben @nebkreb.bsky.social · 10/10/2026They made it harder than I hoped, but three points was a must. 000
Ben @nebkreb.bsky.social · 10/10/2026BRUNO!! 2-1! Great play down the left, and I think Gyokeres with a lovely little backheel for the assist. 100
Ben @nebkreb.bsky.social · 10/10/2026Punished rightly. Somehow playing worse than in the first half. 000
Ben @nebkreb.bsky.social · 10/10/2026Alright Arsenal, time to respond to the Brighton defeat with energy and focus. Let's go Gunners! 000
Ben @nebkreb.bsky.social · 10/10/2026Alright this is my best and last of the night. Everything is perfect except Glenn Close isn't the right supporting actor. 000
Ben @nebkreb.bsky.social · 10/10/2026Actually this might be better: A monsters/aliens flick, directed by Ridley Scott. Rated R, an elite cast of Al Pacino, Steve Buscemi, Chris Rock and led by... Marlon fucking Brando. $435M at the box office baby. 000
Ben @nebkreb.bsky.social · 10/10/2026Okay I'm not going to beat this one: A high-fantasy/roadtrip film, rated R, directed by Christopher Nolan. Starring DENZEL, supporting actors Tom Holland, Ed Harris and James Caan. 288M at the box office, 91/100 critics. 100
Ben @nebkreb.bsky.social · 10/10/2026Thanks to @craigcalcaterra.bsky.social I was playing that Tentpole game. My first result was PG animated sports movie starring Jennifer Aniston, Brie Larson, Hailee Steinfeld and anothe actress (forgot who). Only problem? Directed by Guillermo Del Toro 220
Ben @nebkreb.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Nothing sums up Boone's tenure as Yankees manager better than this: he has the MLB (!) record for most playoff games managed without a World Series win. 000
Ben @nebkreb.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Boone restated that he led off with Grisham to give Rice more atbats with runners on. Grisham went 0-5 with four strikeouts, with five noncompetitive atbats. 000
Ben @nebkreb.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Boone just said "it's a broken clubhouse" about his team. Why? Lots of experience dealing with this feeling from those guys (and him). 010
Ben @nebkreb.bsky.social · 08/10/2026@zohrankmamdani.bsky.social Something that could use your attention in the Bronx. Make some calls and get Boone and Cashman out of here please. 010
Ben @nebkreb.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Rice needs to improve his first base defense. Can't be a full-time DH at 27. Great great hitter. Can build the lineup around him (and Judge). 000
Ben @nebkreb.bsky.social · 08/10/2026I cannot believe I root for two teams with such terrible managers/head coaches as Aaron Boone and Aaron Glenn. New York teams, please stop hiring Aarons. 000
Ben @nebkreb.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Giancarlo and McMahon's contracts are both off the books next year. With the lockout looming and likely a shortened season, probably gonna see the Yanks run the same crap out there next year and maybe reset in 2028. Sad that that's probably the best-case scenario. 100
Ben @nebkreb.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Probably the best rotation the Yankees have had since 2009, if not earlier. Wasted because Trent Grisham, Jazz Chisholm, and Ryan McMahon got like, 800 atbats combined this year. 000
Ben @nebkreb.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Wild how the visiting team celebrates in YSIII more often than the Yankees. 000
Ben @nebkreb.bsky.social · 08/10/2026The perfect way for Trent to end our season. Why was he batting leadoff? 001
Ben @nebkreb.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Jazz gonna get to 3-0 then swing at a bad pitch to end the game on a DP 200
Ben @nebkreb.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Since they need a new 3B and probably a new OF, if he could be even average at 2B, would be a win. 100
Ben @nebkreb.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Good atbat, even with the stikeout. Volpe has been impressive this postseason. Maybe something clicked in that minors stint. In contention to start at 2B next year. 211
Ben @nebkreb.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Might be Giancarlo's last atbat in the majors. Would be a hell of a story for one more bomb... 100
Ben @nebkreb.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Please tell me someone is pinch-running for Goldschmidt. We have 47 guys on the bench. 010
Ben @nebkreb.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Trent and Jazz ending their Yankees career with the softest of whimpers 012
Ben @nebkreb.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Probably gonna be a double, with Lombard on 3rd or sent home. 110
Ben @nebkreb.bsky.social · 08/10/2026TBS booth praising Jax for hanging a sweeper middle-middle. Wells just swung through it. 000
Ben @nebkreb.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Spencer Jones' ability to hit LHP has been a really pleasant surprise this year 000
Ben @nebkreb.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Yep. Rays haven't stopped basestealers all year. The kind of thing good managers/coaching staffs hammer in a series, Boone and co. doing nada 000
Ben @nebkreb.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Hey, maybe send your super fast young SS to steal second base aaaaaaaaaaand it's a double play 100
