When I was a kid I lived in what we learned at school was "temperate climate". We complained about the rain and drizzle, and how it never got really warm in the summer. I remember dreaming about leaving on a tropical island somewhere. I dream about a crispy spring day now. I'm in a man-made hell.

this summer I chose a new desktop and installed Office and other stuff on it, and basically made it look and feel almost like the old one. when asked what I wanted for the trouble of doing this on my vacation, I just said that I wanted this. I wish there was a way to bring some home with me.

Yay! I remember when it finally got a little bigger and there was a first flower bud, that was a few years ago. Two years ago it had two flowers, and now it's been the second summer with three (the third one is delayed, still a small bud). Don't ask what kind, I'm not sure 😀 #cactus #succulents
