I'm huge fanatic for the 'Alien' movies and as I kid, I was introduced to the franchise through the comics, toys and video games. Something about that second hand wave of media that embraced the color and caught my eye from across the comic book store before I had ever even seen the movies.

Like everyone else, I was pleasantly surprised by the news of spinosaurus mirabilis being officially named and described. And reading how we have material from multiple distinct specimens is amazing. I was not gonna slouch on the flood of new paleoart depicting it.

This is nanotyrannus. A controversial animal that’s recently enjoyed a media spotlight as consensus has solidified on its validity as its own genus. Previously, it’d been largely considered a juvenile tyrannosaurus.

Another illustration for Creative Beast Studio's new tabletop card game 'Zoic'. This has been a really fun project. Depicted is a dryptosaurus mother who is now faced with the tragic consequences of an incapacitating injury resulting from a failed hunt.

This is a fun one but it’s a lot of work. A lot of animals in the scene and figuring out what each one is doing is tricky. #dinosaur #paleoart #noai #procreate

I just saw #nosferatu . I loved it. Eggers has an uncanny ability to infuse authenticity in his films by how well he establishes setting and writes dialog that seems true to the period. I especially love how he takes inspiration from folklore. Anyway, I painted this in @procreate.com

Planning my next illustration. I’m realizing that I’m leaning a little too hard into the common paleoart trope of exclusively Depicting animals eating other animals. I think my New Year’s resolution will be balancing out content a bit more. Showing quiet moments and more herbivores.

A #horror #illustration I did last year while experimenting with #procreate . I had just seen Skinamarink and was fascinated with the idea of painting a gray #alien through the fog of waking from sleep.

#Godzilla has been everywhere lately. Two new films; both a Japanese and English productions. Plus a series of AppleTV+. I felt taking a crack at Godzilla and since habits always kick in, I ended up giving it more of a theropod posture. #kaiju #procreateart #ipadpro #monster
