I looked at the voting numbers from May & was disheartened by the turnout of R v D in our very red state. Then I realized it was the primaries and each could only vote for their party. Then I got a bit happier because ultimately R was very low compared to past turnout. Will we flip? 🤞

Thinking my teen swiped them before heading off to college 🫠 Guess I’ll order a few new books & read a science non-fiction while I wait. It’s not like science isn’t being censored now anyway 🤷‍♀️

Organizing my small group for voting. Early voting started in Nebraska today. Making sure everyone is registered, knows polling locations and dates, knows about the candidates on the ballot and anything else we’re voting on, and setting up times to go with some people who need support.

It took me waaaay too long to realize this. I should have trusted my gut when I was a kid and scared of authority figures, but I let indoctrination convince me they were there to help. They’ve never helped me. Only made my life more difficult and couldn’t help when actual crimes happened.

Yes!!! I’m slowly getting my white community to understand mutual aid & why it’s important for our survival. We have a small group, but it’s growing. We’ve offered childcare, car repair, travel, car-sharing, meals, advice, support groups, education, and some non-Christian spiritual services.
