Daal makhani

Plate of daal makhani, rice, roasted cauliflower, and buttered naan. The daal, consisting of urad lentils, red kidney beans, and split chickpeas in a tomato and cream based gravy, is piled on top of rice which was sold as basmati but which is definitely not basmati. The cauliflower was cooked with a ton of turmeric which is why it's so yellow
