My opinion - Foreign media in countries like #Australia, where this piece ran, shouldn't publish #Chinese government op-eds unless #China's state media publishes foreign diplomat op-eds. #Reciprocity is a basic tenet of #diplomacy and should be enforced in the #digital and #media spaces.

#KLIA #Malaysia is a badly designed airport. But not sure the right comparison about terrible #international to #domestic connections is 3 airports that have no domestic flights.

Passengers connecting between domestic and international flights
must exit through immigration, reclaim their baggage, and then
check-in again at the other terminal.

This is not just inconvenient — it is a fundamental design flaw that
undermines KLIA's role as a hub airport.

No serious international gateway forces its transit passengers
through this ordeal.

Airports in Singapore, Dubai and Doha have long mastered integrated
transfers, ensuring speed, reliability and comfort.

On the keycard at this hotel far from #Japan, someone seems to have included #Okinawan (unless I am mistaken) as one of the many languages. Interesting - and cool - choice!

Interesting findings on the #sustainability backlash, but the choice to include #Turkey as Asia-Pacific and not either #MiddleEast or #Europe is...quite a choice. Also, more than half the world, by population, is in Asia-Pacific - makes it kind of a useless category to make any conclusions.
