Here's something fun you can try at the Museum or at home: Position your hands and arms the same way as in Bob Trotman's "Grab" and Auguste Rodin's "The Cathedral." The catch is that you can't use a second person to accomplish this. Can you do it?

If you've visited West Building, you're likely familiar with William Wetmore Story's sculpture "Saul under the Influence of the Evil Spirit." Did you know? - Saul contains a time capsule in its base - The floor under Saul is reinforced because it weighs 9,000 lbs Watch: bit.ly/46ib4jK

Marking 25 years since 9/11, we honor artist Michael Richards through his sculpture, "Tar Baby vs. St. Sebastian." Cast from his body as a tribute to the Tuskegee Airmen, the gold pilot is pierced by crashing planes. Richards died in the WTC on 9/11, turning the piece into a poignant self-portrait.

🍿NCMA Movies at Moore Square update🍿 Tonight's rescheduled screening of Godzilla vs. Mothra has been postponed until Friday, May 14, 2027. Last week's postponed screening of Wicked: For Good has been rescheduled for Saturday, November 14 at 3 pm.

Some of Yayoi Kusama’s best-known works are her “infinity rooms,” mirror-lined kaleidoscopic artworks that create illusions of infinite space. Kusama’s LIGHT OF LIFE has been a visitor favorite since 2018. We are grateful to share this work - and the joyful experience it brings - with our visitors.
