What Carlos had to say back in July. Also listen to his beyond the grid episode, he addresses this again and the why he knew it was never gonna be Charles being let go But bottom line, to believe FV thinks they may have made a mistake is just nonsensical. If they wanted Sainz, he’d be their driver

020 2

NPK💜🩵 @ncamz.teamlh.social · 17/12/2024

My guy, those are Carlos Sainz’ words, lol. He literally said it, it’s not me opining on the matter. Just to drive the point home again, this is what FV has had to say. Sainz unfortunately was no longer part of their immediate future plans once Lewis became available. Sucks, but it’s Formula 1

everytime they are next to each it is the standard radio message that gets sent to both, always. they are reminded to keep it clean. George defended well. It was just a good move that had not worked very well the whole GP (ie GR stuck behind Pierre) but Lewis managed it.

He was broken and looked absolutely shattered, and was very angry on his inlap post race. But trust, they gave him his kudos. Atleast on the english media. Even had Martin Brundle pivoting and pointing out they were overlooking Lando's efforts on the day.
