I would love a single player game set in something like the Infinite Forest, i know it didnt get ALOT of play in the Mercury expansion but it was such an interesting look into The Vex and how they...dont technically travel through time, but instead create insanely high tier simulations.

Weaknesses define a character just as much as their strengths and having a character that is "invincible" is probably the most boring thing ever unless that invincibility is their weakness.

Exactly, its way better to ask "why my character has x experience" or even saying "Why is my character physically strong" and you go "oh they were a miner" and from there it just hops you off not only to other experiences and things they could know.

See the trick is you can’t just be like “my character is a sword master” ok so they are ONLY good with a sword? You have to give your normal guys SKILL SETS, like being a fully trained soldier or an Assassin. It gives a more blanket of abilities instead of just one

I have always loved the idea of living gods, not ethereal unseen beings but physical ones you could just go see The Varngul are ruled by The Goddess of Blood and Fertility, it was her who saw leeches in the mud and fed them her divine blood to uplift them as the beings they are now.
