I’ve also spent time with the biggest smiles on my face. Shouting as loud as I can to the world until my voice became so hoarse it broke. My team laughed along and encouraged me to keep pushing myself, seeing the effort I was exerting. There’s been fun and happiness. While fleeting- still amazing.

It wasn’t easy. I’ve also had my house flood twice during the course of this event and yet I’ve persisted and been offered assistance from those undergoing this transition with me. I’ve spent considerable time bawling my eyes out from the stress of the event and confiding in those around me.

Grim as all this may sound, it’s been a net good. I’ve learned to accept something that I’ve been struggling with for years- being comfortable in my own skin. I’ve seen positivity and support from everyone involved in this event. They’ve embraced me even after learning I lived with a mask on.

My time has been taken away and I’ve been forced to endure a drought of both social life and gaming. This has led to my inability to continue posting or interacting for the time being. I’m almost done with this. Counting down less than two weeks and it’ll all be over, one way or another.
