Our wettest parkrun yet this morning at Rhos-on-Sea. Wasn’t meant to rain too much but the forcast lied and it lashed it down the entire run, I couldn’t see a thing and I was soaked. Despite that I ran very fast and somehow got a PB, official time of 37:58, over a minute faster!!

What a lovely morning! As it’s the 22nd and also my birthday I decided to wear a tutu today! A beautiful morning at Dover Waterfront parkrun where I pushed for a PB because it’s a lovely flat course and funnily enough I got position 222 on the 22nd wearing a tutu! PB time was 39:08 so 10 secs! 🎉

Parkrun today was at Chippenham, not my favourite course as it was quite tight in sections and the ground was rather uneven and grassy Either way with the heat once again a time of 41:23 isn’t too bad

Visited 7/11 remaining stations on the Esk Valley line today. Lots of walking between stations, some very tasty fries and a Pepsi at The Eskdale at Castleton Moor Station. Hopefully we can get the remaining 4 tomorrow 😊

Welsh parkrun today as we’re away with family, was quite a nice course, shaded and a bit cooler than other places in the UK currently. First outing off the running shorts and they’re very nice! Also had a lovely refreshing iced tea at the cafe afterwards! Not quite a PB 40:00 but getting better! 😁

Happy 3 years to @nickbadley.com ❤️ To celebrate we went for a lovely meal at The Alexandra in Southampton which had some delicious steak, gluten free chicken tenders and corn ribs! Even though it wasn’t the fanciest place, honestly for the price and quality of the food 100% worth it! 🥰😁

Today was Leipzig exploring, started off the day with our train being terminated in Bitterfeld and no movement due to a police incident. When we eventually got there it was as expected, very wet and cold. Visited the cool underground stations along with going on trams! Had a GF Schnitzel too!

Yesterday was a travel day moving from Paderborn to Wittenberg, only issue is we came across many cancelled trains but did eventually arrive at Wittenberg. What a lovely place! Quite small but also weirdly very empty, we bought some stuff to make dinner from the shop to save money 😁

Day 2 of Germany was some Schwebebahn action, got some trolly bus action to a cute village then more bus to a big castle where I ate waffles then more (non trolly) buses to Köln where it got a bit grey! All in all a very busy day 😂

Had a fun weekend in the North East for the final new station on the Northumberland line! Did a lot of other things too though including a hard parkrun and lots of lounges visited by buses and trains. I also forgot how cold the north is, especially with the coastal wind 😅

A bit late but yesterday we flew home from Narvik, which made it my first and second time on a plane in one day! Did actually end up making money for the flight as our flight was overbooked and we took one 2 hours later for €150 each!

Yesterday was a fun day! Some lovely views after deciding to go Snowboarding / Skiing with Nick in Narvik I can confidently say it is very hard to snowboard when you’re left on your own! The hardest part was getting off the floor 😭😂 Also had a lovely gluten free Burger King for tea!

After what should have been 5 hours to explore Stockholm becoming 1.5 hours we had a brief walk around before boarding the sleeper train! The only hot meal I could have was this venison, mash and lingonberry sauce which was actually very tasty! 😁 Here’s to 14 more hours on this train 😂

To save a bit of money we ate out at IKEA in Copenhagen last night, as the normal meatballs there aren’t gluten free we stopped by a place called Palæo for some gluten free meatballs for me which I sneakily put on my IKEA plate 😂 Honestly they were very tasty!
