It's National Boyfriend Day!!💚 Trey cares about me, is kind, & makes me feel safe, which means a lot. We support each other through happy & sad times, & it helps that we were friends for a long time before we became official. We both have disabilities, & it shouldn’t stop us from experiencing love.

However, I remembered we have a chair from my dad’s days when he lived in Alaska when he was younger. Also, I found my baby blanket—it's been with me all these 26 years!!!!!😃🪑🧺

What happened and "changed our children?" The reauthorization of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act in 1990s that and included autism as a covered disabilities. Schools had to report how many autistic students they served. Who was a cosponsor of that bill? RFK Jr.'s uncle Ted Kennedy.

Special Olympics provides opportunities for athletes with intellectual disabilities to compete and advocate for more inclusive communities

Today I am so Proud of myself!!🥹🚲🥇💜 I competed in cycling again and I’m keeping my gold medal streak going!!!!! I got two gold medals in my division competing in the 10k and 5k races!!!! I’m so happy and tired, but the fact that I gold medaled, I qualify to go to the next World Games in Chile!!😲

It’s my 15th anniversary of when I had brain surgery to stop my seizures, but my scars are still part of me and so is my epilepsy. 🧠💜 Life can be one gut punch after another, but when you’re surrounded by the the people you love, you get through the hard times and you get back up again!!!!!🧠💜
