I researched and wrote a paper in college about the history and plight of indigenous North American people and tribes. Teacher read it for the class, so maybe it was good. AFAIK I am not indigenous by DNA, but I am woke!

Yes, being "woke" for me is being aware as I can reasonably be of the needs and feelings of everyone on the planet and at least trying to care about all that. The opposite, to me, is being a selfish and cruel POC who doesn't care about anybody but themselves!
