As a Medicare provider for over 40 years I would add one critical element to extending Medicare for all. A realistic reimbursement rate. The dirty little secret is that low reimbursement is resulting in much higher fees for other non-Medicare patients. Especially a problem for hospitals!

Where I buy regular $5.74. Just after Iran war started I filled up before prices spiked. Paid $4.21. It has peaked at about 5.85. Gas generally high in California but over 5 bucks a gallon is out of the ordinary. All thanks to Trumpshit who, IMHO, was blackmailed by NuttyYahoo w/Epstein videos.

My dad emigrated from Spain at 16. He was a coal miner for 13 years. His dream was to go to California. In Spain they talked about California as most like Spain. One of the easiest and nutritious things to grow is kale. Grows like a weed & excellent for you. If you avoid because of bitterness, soaking will reduce some of the bitter taste. Even better is "tempering" with olive oil. Cut up kale and massage it a little olive oil. Bitterness gone.
