Aiko is here! Looking back, it's honestly crazy to me that we got this far... When I created Mikoto Studio 4 years ago I had no idea that I would be here today, getting to work with such amazing people making such cool things. It sounds cheesy and all, but truth be told, I created Mikoto... (1/??)

Completely wild princession orchestra theory here. What if Carrol is the grief of everyone who was forced to leave Alicepia. "I wish Alicepia didn't exist so I wouldn't miss it".

Not going to comment on anything other than this, but wanted to point out for at least this specifically it heavily depends on the engine moreso than it just "being ai". Depending on how it works under the hood, individual singing skill might not matter *that* much.

I will be able to afford it eventually, but since the waiting list is several months minimum, it would be nice to be able to enter said waiting list sooner rather than later/in several months, as I dont have nearly enough in savings right now...

it is impossible to reinterpret it as a different kind of love- because it was already established as romantic love, essentially making it so there is only one possible deduction left that the viewer can make by eliminating all other options

010

Nathan Dreamweaver @nathanvocal.bsky.social · 28/05/2025

I would argue it is more unambiguous than some of the times the Pretty Series has used Daisuki or even Aishiteru before. Himari's misunderstanding is key- by having her think she was in love with Himari's brother, she got a confirmation it was romantic love, so when she realizes it was Rei all along

The truth is Chii needs the world to nerf her or she would be too powerful... Put her in any setting where the world doesn't seem to be actively conspiring against her at all times and she would be unstoppable.

010

Nathan Dreamweaver @nathanvocal.bsky.social · 28/05/2025

The funny part is there is also the OP. You know, the song that is never performed in anime. Danced to by Himari. Who can buzzlume in it. They just really hated Chii for no reason

100

Nathan Dreamweaver @nathanvocal.bsky.social · 28/05/2025

Also because it stops at like episode 25. Gira Gira Star is there but Chii is the only character not allowed to buzzlume. Her buzzlume "target" (the little character to the side of the live) just never fills up, and that is on purpose. Chii always getting the short end of the stick

Nathan Dreamweaver @nathanvocal.bsky.social · 28/05/2025

Engine wise, it is more of a straight port of the arcade game than either pretty rhythm 3ds or pripara 3ds/switch, but yeah.... it also targets 30fps (arcade is 60fps) but it can not even reach that (Never Give Up Lover is like. 15fps. Sometimes less. Yes that includes the rhythm game timing.)
