Yes.
A small pile of pulled weeds, collected in front of my house, signifying a cool person lives here - likely a hippie or an artist or someone that listens to peace punk. In my case it's mostly the second and third things but admittedly also a teeny weeny tiny bit of the first

Good morning. Let's all take a moment to appreciate this outstanding album artwork by Mervin Palmer for Mutabaruka's 1984 LP Outcry...
A cellular phone photograph of dub poet/roots reggae musician Mutabaruka's 1984 LP Outcry. The album art is a painting by Mervin Palmer. "Outcry" is written in icy graffiti-ish font, above a stencil of Africa that overlays a photograph of Mutabaruka's face. The foreground depicts broken flagpoles with Amerikkan, USSR, and unidentified Union Jack flags engulfed in flames. The top half is red, eventually giving way to drips, presumably blood, about midway down. I cannot confirm that 1980s Minneapolis hardcore band Outcry named themselves after this record, but I'd really like to believe so. Let's just go ahead and say it is. We live in a post-truth society; it doesn't matter anyway. Boom, and that's how facts are created!

Sad news for those of you using my Kanopy login (and also for me), that shits ending...
A cellular phone screenshot of a block of text taken from the Hennepin County Public Library website, notifying users that effective May 11, 2026, they will discontinue their subscription to Kanopy streaming services due to the cost of said subscription being no longer sustainable. The text is black, overlaid against a grayish blue background.

This just in: I'm officially an anarchist...
A cellular phone photograph of a used copy of the 1978 sci-fi novel favored by anarchists, False Dawn, by Chelsea Quinn Yarbro; the 1979 mass market paperback poser version with rendering of feminine presenting person wielding a mysterious weapon and/or tool rather than well known hardcover version that features a leather clad wolf person on a motorcycle. A price sticker placed in the upper half indicates it was at one time only 95 cents. I purchased it for roughly 10 dollars, shipping included, from an eBay seller. They were asking double that, but accepted my lowball offer because capitalism baby!

A photograph of the lid of a Minneapolis garbage container showing faded blue graffiti that says "Hüsker Dü", which was a punk band from neighboring St.Paul comprised of drummer Grant Hart, bassist Greg Norton, and guitarist Bob Mould, a Macalester College student.

If you see this quote post a concert picture you took blah blah blah
Retirement live at Black Lodge, Seattle, WA, 04/19/2025. The singer stands left of center, legs wide, screaming into mic, intense look on face. The bass player stands right of center, wearing a Throbbing Gristle - Beyond Jazz Funk bootleg T-shirt. Everything is awash in red lighting Retirement live at Black Lodge, Seattle, WA, 04/19/2025. The singer screams from stage, awash in red light. A audience member stands below, fist pumping, back to the camera, awash in green lightning. Like punk rock Christmas in April

A meme from David Linklater's 1993 American cinema masterpiece Dazed and Confused, in which the character David Wooderson (played by Mathew McConaughey) proclaims, "That's what I love about these high school girls, I get older, they stay the same age." For the purposes of this incredibly specific and undeniably hilarious meme created by me,"high school girls" has been changed to "college radio DJs"

Can't stop thinking about what David Schultz' jumper might have looked like...
A photo from a 1980s issue of Wrestling Eye magazine, in which "Dr. D" David Schultz holds a basketball, seemingly about to shoot a jumpshot (assuming there's a basketball hoop off camera). The caption reads "Photo of the Month," with the alt text reading, "A look at Dr. D outside the ring. He's quite competent in more than one sport." He's wearing wrestling boots, sweatpants, and a tank top.
