I recently built PuckDrop: a game day prediction app for my ice hockey friend group, using Blazor WASM, Lambda and DynamoDB. First time deploying with @aspire.dev rather than just using it for local development. The same AppHost now covers both: nathandoherty.dev/blog/buildin...

Building PuckDrop with Aspire, Blazor and AWS
How a WhatsApp chat and a hand-kept spreadsheet turned into a serverless game day prediction app, and what I learned using Aspire to deploy to AWS for the first time.

Some nice new features added to @aspire.dev 13.5! Check it out if you haven't already! Being able to run your fully distributed app locally with one command! Aspire gets better with every release (or daily if you like the thrill of running daily builds)

Visual Studio 2022 Aspire users: *UPDATE to the latest version of Aspire* You're missing out on so much! Latest Aspire supports .NET 8/9/10! Run this in a terminal: dotnet new install Aspire.ProjectTemplates --force Open NuGet Package Manager & update all Aspire.* packages to version 13. Enjoy!

This is massive! Always kept it up to date anyways, but this is massive for those who could not previously use STS due to the shorter support cycle
