I saw this little grasshopper fella in the field earlier today! Also, I'm finally getting around to learning how to edit RAW files. This is my first serious attempt! I'm pretty happy with how it came out!

I finally picked up a 50mm f/1.8 lens, here are some portraits of cats I've taken recently!

I'm so proud of this shot, super lucky framing!

Saw some birds on my morning bike ride!

A large white bird (I think it's an egret) flying alongside a smaller bird. The sky is a gentle orange tone from the sunrise. There are reeds in the foreground, a windmill and a hydro pole in the background.

Another moon shot! This one is from a few nights ago, with the same setup as before; 102mm Svbony SV48P telescope and Canon 70D. Monochrome mode to mask chromatic aberration, and some basic sharpening. I like it!

Another moon photo I took last night! Very basic DSLR+telescope photo, I just did some simple sharpening. I like it a lot! Someday I'll learn how to use autostakkert. But for now, I'm happy with this!

The (I think) waxing crescent moon, with a slight orange-ish tone. Various craters and lunar maria are visible.

I tried my telescope adapter for the first time, really happy with this as a first attempt at shooting the moon. I sharpened it a bit and used the monochrome mode to cover up my telescope's chromatic aberration. I like it, especially for such a basic setup! Excited to try again soon!

This is probably the photo I'm most proud of. I love the fluffiness and tone of the clouds, the moon, and the sense of scale the power line gives. I love it!

I doubt I'll be very active here, but I'll periodically post some of my favourite photos I've taken over the past few years. These were all taken with my Canon 70D various adapted vintage lenses! I like them a lot!
