I've noticed that Bluesky has a blackhole feature where they label someone as rude and all of a sudden their posts disappear and even if you go onto their profile page it hides their posts and says "rude account" instead. Come on Bluesky, be better! At least allow us to override this on friends.

The truth about vouchers is they won't pay enough for a majority of parents to put their kids into private schools. It offsets the rich parents' expenses fairly nicely though. Mostly the ones that can already afford it. I went to private schools growing up, that we couldn't really afford.

It recently occurred to me that some people that claim to believe exclusively in meritocracy seem to have flipped the definition. In meritocracy people are rewarded for hard work and abilities. Colloquially it equates to people will succeed if the work hard.

I saw a post claiming that Elon has found a bit over 500billlion in wasted spending for programs that were no longer active... That's amazing considering there's only about 700 billion in discretionary spending that isn't defense related. So he's claiming nearly 3/4 of those are expired programs?
