The WIPs or Artists Editions? I was referring to the upright issue with the AEs - your WIPs look safe to me!

How do you store them? Mine lie flat on a desk because I read somewhere that storing them upright can warp the spine

Artists Editions are great, but very expensive - these seem like a great entry point for people to learn about the original art without shelling out $150 retail, or $40 for an artisan edition

This is more or less where I’m coming down on it. Sure, the Reynolds movie crashed and burned, but that doesn’t mean you have to flee from core aspects of the comics that made GL books worth reading

I didn’t get the pun at first and figured the verb “to boromir” meant to attempt to bully somebody into giving you something unsuccessfully, then to die fighting lots of orcs

Jim Lee/Scott Williams Batman, from the original Hush storyline - another foundational text for me, and why, for me, Jim Lee is THE Batman artist.

Mike Mignola/Mark Badger on Dr. Strange and Dr. Doom: Triumph and Torment. I don't think this is a particularly strong page, but I always like seeing earlier Mignola and looking for the style that he'd eventually bring to Hellboy.

I love flipping through the periodic Heritage Comic Art Signature auctions (I assure you, my interest is purely aspirational) - here are a few pieces coming up in the next one that caught my eye

In related news, I was puzzled by the very limited selection of books for sale at the National Book Festival, considering the number of really great bookstores in the DC area. A book festival should have lots of books! #books #comics #nationalbookfestival

So cool to see legend Frank Miller at the National Book Festival and hear his thoughts on the nature of art, storytelling, and Neal Adams

I was not a huge fan of Ahsoka season 1, mostly because I don't care about SW Rebels, but I did love the Thrawn stuff so I'm in. Still surprised they're making more of it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=J3OA... #StarWars
