One of my favorite things about sound design as a profession is it's often very full of whimsy. Sometimes in order to convey your point in a meeting, you have no choice but to make a silly sound with your mouth. I just in earnest named some of my UI files 'Bleep Bloops'.

God what a nightmare. My wishful thinking is AI investment companies are already so deep in the red that they can't justify investing more into acquiring more companies. I think as sad as it would be, I would prefer to see NI effectively die off than to become a ghoulish puppet for AI generation.

Ah wonderful. I love keeping an eye on my tools that I use to make a living and waiting for them to maybe stop working someday. Another devastating victory for capitalism!

A little over a year ago I convinced my gf to give Stardew Valley a try. She reluctantly agreed (She doesn’t play games very often). Fast forward to last night, I’m trying to remember if Robin’s shop is open, or if she’s at aerobics. “Aerobics is only on Tuesdays.” She says with an eye roll 🙄
