🏔️Wow. Trail Escape Edinburgh Marathon was so much more hill than I was expecting. Great views, lots of Lucozade and 3rd hiker to finish.

🏅Medal of the Month continues, finishing out August with Perth 10k. Not the most exciting course, but very glad it rained to cool things down. Felt my strongest yet but still going to try and regain my speed from here onwards and get back in the sub 50 club. And a cooler photo. Marathon hike next!🏔️

Sadly I've been made redundant from my retail job 😞We knew store closure was likely but didn't expect just three days notice. Yesterday was my last shift and it was so sad to pack things into boxes. Feeling a little overwhelmed by all the lovely support and sympathy from everyone in town. Thank you

I'm still out and about running. Run of the Month was Loch Lomond 10k and one of the best yet. Stunning route which I slowed down to enjoy, learning that having a fun time is more important than a fast time 🙂

4th Month, 4th medal. Had a great time with Scurry Events around the Kelpies, loved the route (saw a heron) and appreciated the snacks and buff at the end. 42 seconds off my goal...should have played my 'go-faster' playlist a bit sooner 😆

Everytime I book a hotel in Edinburgh it's usually £100-£165 depending on the day...but suddenly all the hotels are £250+...doesn't matter if it's next week or later in the year. Have I gone crazy?? Had a few events planned but I'm not going if it's that much a night 😵‍💫

First running medal of the year from the Simon Howie Puddin' Race. Took it nice and easy and just had fun. A really well organised event, so will certainly be back next year. I've started marathon training, so hoping to try and get to an event each month to keep me motivated 👟
