NatanS @natans8.bsky.social · 03/07/2026Why the long face? (I really love faces/builds that are significantly different from in-game tho) 010
NatanS @natans8.bsky.social · 02/07/2026Anyway, I sincerely wish you to find your comfort on the RP scene, and know that you have friends that are ready to talk and listen to you about it, if you just ask. Looking forward to meeting you more in-character! 010
NatanS @natans8.bsky.social · 02/07/2026At the end of the day, it's a social hobby. An excuse to spend time with people and create something together. And more often than not, those people want you around because they enjoy your company, and not just because of what you contribute to the table. 110
NatanS @natans8.bsky.social · 02/07/2026If you get rid of the notion of "RP is my hobby and thus it's something I have to do", the "use it or lose it" mindset, suddenly it becomes another way to pass the time and connect with friends. And sometimes that is all that is needed. 110
NatanS @natans8.bsky.social · 02/07/2026I think, what started to slowly get me out of this burn out, is the realisation, that the end goal is not necessarily to create something amazing, but to just have a good time. Don't write because you must complete this before the event deadline, write because you feel like writing. 120
NatanS @natans8.bsky.social · 02/07/2026Been dealing with this myself for the better part of the decade, in a way I still am. As you get better with it, you set higher standards for yourself up to the point when you can no longer keep up with your own expectations. Not only in terms of quality, but also the time you regularly dedicate. 110
NatanS @natans8.bsky.social · 02/07/2026Would be interesting to discuss the topic of how to deal with rogue allies. It almost looks like nobody has a clue of what to do if a member of your alliance turns rotten, and there have been more than a handful of examples in recent years, enough to establish a common line of thought perhaps. 0141
