I've been sick with some sort of really nasty cold for the past 2 weeks and was finally getting better... then I got sick again, sore throat and all. I'm so confused, I didn't know it could happen this fast 🫤

I'm so used to trying to figure out what people expect me to do or feel that I often loose connection to what is actually going on in my own brain. I'm so proud that I managed to accept that I was allowed to be upset and that again, needing time and space to calm down was just a natural consequence

I really don't do well with sudden changes, especially related to work. I used to feel that I had to push through anyway and that getting upset was my fault. This week, for the first time, I felt like it wasn't my fault and being upset was just a natural consequence to other people's actions 😮

My toddler has been doing this lately 🥹😭✨

Mom is holding her hand out to her toddler, saying hello. Instead of shaking the hand, the toddler takes it in both of their little hands and softly puts their cheek on it. Mom is delighted “awwwww”

Has the change affected your posture in any way? I've read that some artists were having issues with back pain after switching to a screen tablet because you have to look down rather than straight in front of you.

Personally, I don't like the sound the pen makes on regular paper but this is still a solid option until there's a better solution! Maybe I can find some paper with a different texture too.

I've had my little Intuos M for six years now after upgrading from a delapidated Bamboo and I'm really happy with it except for how slippery the surface gets after a while. If screen tablets aren't the way to go, I'm wondering if I should upgrade to an Intuos Pro instead? Any thoughts?

I have an ipad but never had a screen tablet for my computer and I'm wondering if it might make sense to get one at some point. Most of them don't have touch and I'm wondering how that works with your muscle memory if you're used to all the gestures on ipad. Is it annoying? Or do you get used to it?

Not sure what it is this year but clients keep starting projects just to forget about me soon after. At best they pop up weeks/months later and expect to get things done then. My whole schedule is a mess, I've done so much waiting for nothing, missed out on so much income... I'm tired, boss... 🫠

Decided to leave my comfort zone and make a really atmospheric lineless drawing... and I'm already regretting it. I was slowly getting the hang of color and light when I was taking classes a few years back but since I stopped actively learning, it's been so hard to remember how it all works 😩

Sometimes I watch youtube videos about how AI users fake their drawing process. It got so stuck in my head that when I draw, I keep wondering if my own process looks genuine. Like, I'm here, drawing this with my human hands... but still, WHAT IF...?

Here in Germany all assessment centers that would be covered by insurance are hopelessly overrun so the few options that are still left are all self-pay 😪 Seems like each country has their own bullshit going on...

Oh, I remember so well!! Those were really good talks we had! It's funny how, once I started bringing up autism, many people went "yeah, we always suspected" while I was all clueless for so long, believing my therapists and psychiatrists who only ever told me to try harder and change my attitude 🤪

I got my official autism diagnosis earlier this week! I have many thoughts but mainly how I wasn't imagining it when simple things seemed way too hard and that instead of being lazy and weak, I was actually quite driven and resilient 💪

We went to @kazkon.bsky.social today and enjoyed it so so much! There was a little zine making area where we made Baby's first zine 😌 I was also really excited about the artist alley! I can't travel to far away conventions anymore so it was nice to experience these things again so close to home 🥹

Yesterday I decided to get my kid a Kinder Surprise egg even though it's an expensive treat for us. We were buying just the egg and at check out a friendly older dude in front of us saw it and asked if he could pay for it. It was such a small gesture but honestly made my day 😌✨

Funny enough, while I knew about those series, I only started watching them because of my kid! I was looking for something a toddler could watch that wasn't the usual youtube brain rot and I'm glad I found something I can really enjoy as well 😊
