Fwiw I think at the very least City should be expelled from the pl in the foreseeable. Not forever. Fans don't deserve that. Any club, adversely affected by their success in any competition, be adequately compensated. With the scale of their offences this is the only way to meet that equation #LFC

I do wonder if turfing City out the prem is a reality. I'm torn between indignation and trying to be rational and realistic. Fact is the pl have started something in finding enough evidence to charge City of financial corruption. They have to see it to the end. Moreover there's precedent. #LFC

Not saying Curtis Jones has much more ftbl intelligence than Szobo and Grav but that game yesterday illustrated for me why #LFC should have kept him. He can tackle & do much of what Grav is best at. Such a frustrating match. We need a destroyer in mfd to do the dirty and then give the ball to Wirtz.

Watched extended highlights of that UCL gp game and was really encouraged with the overall pfmce. What was particularly pleasing for me was our ability to change gears in the 2nd half and sustain throughout. Barcola looks so exciting His pace you rarely see anywere in world ftbl. Szob🔥 Mac ⚡️ #LFC

It's gonna be a long season. Disappointed but not disillusioned. Can't keep coming from behind despite the firepower we have. I long for the days we were hard to play let alone score against. Just have to keep the faith and believe in the manager and his mgmt of the players. #LFC

I do trust Andoni Iraola to get the team functioning in the way he wants but can't help but think we need constituent parts that are ready-made. Even Klopp realised this in his 2nd season. For me, much more than another fwd #LFC absolutely need a DM. We'll see.

The news of Dolly Parton passing away for so many reasons is incredibly sad and tragic. Of course I remember her music and acting. Also acknowledge how she transcended the entertainment industry to be a heralded global star for what she gave of herself to others. She payed goodness forward.

Every grassy pathway, park or garden I come across looks burnt. No greenery whatsoever. In my lifetime I've never seen that. Wildfires ablaze in some local schools and supermarkets. Things never appear real until it effects your personal. This climate change is and doesn't allow for carelessness.

I'd rather #LFC didn't sell Curtis Jones but it seems inevitable at this stage. If his argument with Szoboslai was about having the opportunity to captain the team I'm sympathetic knowing how dear the club is to him. Puts the whole situation in perspective if he believes he's not in Iraola's plans.

I was kinda hoping Adidas would really take things on in terms of kit design and take us to the next level. I've long admired Arsenal's kits and the way they complemented the physique &/or made their appearance unmistakeably their own. The home kit makes us look like Notts Forest of yesteryear. #LFC

Icl, I'm an Anthony Joshua fan. Was pleased to see him back. That fight against Kristian Prenga was wild man. Quite possibly in the top4 of the most exciting KOs of his career. I don't think it's fair to judge him on the pfmce when you've been out of the ring because of tragic circumstances.

Good. There's something apt and poetic about Conor McGregor essentially defeating himself on his return to UFC. The same or similar injury he incurred essentially happened to him half a decade ago, I believe. Really hope that's the last we see of him anywhere.

Although I'm not necessarily shedding tears over Michael Edwards leaving #LFC, the person I do feel sorry for is our 'new' manager. Can't see how this helps him in cementing more targets. I'm sure plenty of work has been done but seeing things over the line is another story.

I think this World Cup has definitely been one of the best I've seen in the years I've been alive. Started watching from the 80s. So yeah, I remember the great Italian and Brazilian teams featuring the demigods Socrates, Zico, Falcao. The officiating in some of the games has been, tbk, alarming.

Icl, it stung a little, not seeing my football idol growing up, not being selected as #LFC greatest ever player. After reflection I have to admit Kenny was always in a challenging team. Several mambers of which were possibly the best itw in their respective positions. Gerrard never had that luxury.

Bittersweet day. Feel very sad recalling the reports of the tragic accident that ended the lives of Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva. Even now, it still feels surreal. It's been great to see how the football world reacted. The memorial at #LFC is a fitting immortalisation of them both.

I used to follow cricket quite closely but not in the last 10 years. I'm not oblivious to England's exploits in that time though including the captain that has been absolutely central to their success. Ben Stokes has been a louder than life both on & off the field. Retiring from Cricket is wild.

On the game last night listening to some of the pundit criticism. A penny for Rio Ngumoha's thoughts. I didn't want him selected, but only for selfish reasons. Protection and preservation of him as a very young player. On merit IMO, has far better 1v1 ability than either winger last night. #LFC

I rate Androni Iraola and believe his ftbl would suit #LFC but ultimately I think the hierarchy at the club are playing a longer game. I don't think they'll put much stock in Iraola getting silverware next season but have a recognisable way of playing. Luis Enrique is who I believe they really want.

I've accepted that we're going into the new season in the same way we're finishing this. I will be surprised if Slot is still the #LFC manager going into December. I'm anticipating that we will be so far off the pace that FSG will do a 2015 redo. I'm shocked at what I've been seeing from the team.
