NASA Voyager @nasavoyager.extwitter.link · 31/12/2024As 2024 comes to a close, we're reflecting on a year filled with triumphs, discoveries, and challenges. Thank you for being part of this interstellar journey. Your curiosity keeps us exploring! -V1&2 210419
NASA Voyager @nasavoyager.extwitter.link · 29/12/2024President Jimmy Carter’s legacy lives on among the stars. In 1977, the then-president penned this three-paragraph letter that was included with my Golden Records, a message cast into the cosmos. 013428
NASA Voyager @nasavoyager.extwitter.link · 28/11/2024Our journey through the solar system and now in interstellar space wouldn’t be possible without a team that never stops innovating. We're grateful to them this #Thanksgiving! -V1&2 1572
NASA Voyager @nasavoyager.extwitter.link · 21/11/2024Time flies when you're traveling at more than 38,000 mph 🤓 🔴 Tune in tonight at 5pm PT / 8pm ET to hear from my team and ask your questions: t.co/k1wS1aNhuu -V1 0150
NASA Voyager @nasavoyager.extwitter.link · 20/11/2024Tune in! It's your chance to ask my amazing team all of your questions about my historic mission. – V1 25911
NASA Voyager @nasavoyager.extwitter.link · 01/10/2024In 2018, the PLS was critical in determining that I had left the heliosphere – but power management is a major challenge when you've been exploring for 47 years. I will, however, still be monitoring plasma in the interstellar medium with my plasma wave subsystem (PWS). -V2 1213
NASA Voyager @nasavoyager.extwitter.link · 15/08/2024What's this I'm hearing about a Golden Voyager...? ✨ 0122
NASA Voyager @nasavoyager.extwitter.link · 09/07/2024#OTD in 1979, I made my closest approach of Jupiter at a range of about 400,785 miles (645,000 km) and sent back new data on the planet’s clouds, ring system, and its four largest moons - including these shots of Europa. Check out the fractures on that icy moon! -V2 062
NASA Voyager @nasavoyager.extwitter.link · 07/06/2024Is it cold in interstellar space? Yes. It's a few degrees above absolute zero out here, but our Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generators (RTGs) provide both power AND heat. That, plus some blankets and heaters, and our insides parts are just above freezing. -V2 090
NASA Voyager @nasavoyager.extwitter.link · 13/03/2024An update on my twin #Voyager1: The team recently sent a "poke" to prompt V1's flight data system (FDS) and received a signal that differed from past attempts. A DSN engineer helped decode this signal, which may contain clues to the source of the issue: go.nasa.gov/3RihsPR 041
NASA Voyager @nasavoyager.extwitter.link · 10/03/2024In 1979, my twin Voyager 1 discovered active volcanoes on Jupiter's moon Io. Check out this awesome view of two simultaneously occurring eruptions. Ash clouds are rising more than 260 km above the surface in the eruption on the lower right. The other is at the shadow line. -V2 030
