we used to go to the cherry blossoms every year on a weekday at dawn, but stopped during the pandemic. this was the first year we went again, right at the beginning of peak bloom, and it was beautiful!

did a bunch of projects this weekend around the house but one thing i'm super happy with is FINALLY getting our 2nd strand of lights up in our back yard along the new fence. makes the space look so much more inviting!

one thing that keeps me sane is cooking. here are some recent meals we've made: red curry soup, portobello shakshuka, ginger chicken, and our favorite goat cheese & mushroom pasta

ok disregarding the fact that i have not worn heels in a decade, please admire all of these super cool shoes i've been eyeing
