I mean he also tested guns on a Hitler dummy. I don’t think he’s fit for office but I also don’t think he’s a Nazi. The man is just an edgelord who makes offensive jokes

Oh boy, synonyms for bots now. I’m real, you’re just mad that it’s true

2-0 from what I’m seeing now. Still a chance for comeback but it’s looking good for the US

It’s hard not to when there’s almost no way to prove it wrong. If he wasn’t, he’d be in jail or worse by now

Seems so. If we had any stones we would have arrested Putin in Alaska on their warrant

He is the most powerful. There is no way to remove the man unless you can convince the House and 2/3 of the Senate, which is basically impossible given how polarized the party lines are

Me reading whatever the heck those tweets were:

True of some members. But you also have lunatics like Randy Fine saying we should “take what’s ours” and other nonsense like that

It’s easy to hate what he says given everything he says is idiotic or evil. But the guy could at least put some effort into writing sentences properly. He makes Jaden Smith posts look normal

I mean you’re referring to the Kingdom of France which no longer exists. It should be noted that the main reason they helped was to weaken Britain, not necessarily because they sympathized with us. The French king during that time would later be killed during a revolution against him

It’s amazing how many people take this as some kind of justification despite you clearly saying that Trump had no authority to do this. Nobody is a saint in this scenario, but it also shouldn’t have happened. It’s not that hard to understand
000
NRG @nargaflarga.bsky.social · 03/01/2026
This is such a bad take. In the end it just means that everyone sucks and none of it should have happened. That’s not normalizing and justifying, it’s just real
000
NRG @nargaflarga.bsky.social · 03/01/2026
I mean that doesn’t make him a good guy by any means
000
NRG @nargaflarga.bsky.social · 03/01/2026
Huh? He clearly said that Trump had no authority to do this. The same could be said of the leader of Turkmenistan and the fact would remain that Trump has no authority there either. The facts are the facts

Good. It’s easy to hate on Trump voters but if they’re willing to turn their back on him, it’s another vote he and his goons don’t get

Heavens forbid someone wants a reason to believe in the supposedly moral party opposing the current regime. It helps to see some real action instead of the constant platitudes

It really is always about the money. The problem is that when someone says “I can fix it” most voters don’t understand when a plan doesn’t actually fix it

And if it does happen, the sad part is that impeachment is all they can do. Even with a blue wave I don’t expect the senate to get enough seats flipped

This was a shock considering he seemed to be one of the most high profile creeps in there. It’s either a beautifully crafted bluff or he’s actually in the right

Maybe it all just went over my head but I never got the hype. I felt the franchise took off was because 3D movies became a gimmick at the same time, propelling the first movie to a status it otherwise wouldn’t have

I think it’s fair to say that the US was founded under some Christian beliefs, but the founders also clearly recognized that we are not a one-faith country. The reason many came to the new world to begin with was religious persecution so it would be rather hypocritical to be so strict about it

Though to your point, I find it hard to believe they’ll do the right thing when they allow other disgusting things without consequence

NRG @nargaflarga.bsky.social · 22/12/2025
Telling a large group of people to take mass action against someone is also targeted. I’m not necessarily in disagreement with reporting them given the context, but why not just report them?

Spirited isn’t that bad, but it’s not quite the “watch every year” sort of classic I was hoping it would be

Definitely felt that when Destiny transitioned to Destiny 2. I enjoyed Forsaken but beyond that felt like a chore. I’ve missed so much that even the new cool stuff just doesn’t seem to appeal to me

I think Knives Out is still the best, but I did enjoy this more than Glass Onion. My only issue was that I didn’t feel the characters were as well-defined as in the previous two. Maybe one or two fewer characters would have given more time to flesh them out some more

I think it comes down to nonvoters a lot of the time. With how many people are whining about the current state of things I’d be willing to bet a bunch of them never showed to the polls

That tends to happen when the majority is assholes and the minority are all cowards

I’d rather she stay in congress. One less old geezer in a seat is important for lawmaking and critical votes. The presidency is nice and all but exec orders only go so far (unless you’re Trump apparently)

I mean ultimately Vance fits the same slot as Harris. Nobody knows what he does, and he stands in support of someone who shouldn’t be president

NRG @nargaflarga.bsky.social · 18/12/2025
I mean you can credit someone and acknowledge whatever horrible things they did at the same time. I would have just said “this person did this thing but has since been banned for XYZ” or something.

It’s the classic political move: “I don’t know but if you keep voting for me I’ll eventually figure something out!” Rinse and repeat every election cycle

NRG @nargaflarga.bsky.social · 18/12/2025
I don’t think we’ve had much respect beyond the start of 2017. You do have Biden in the middle for what it’s worth, but I don’t think he projected strength and respect in the same way Obama did

NRG @nargaflarga.bsky.social · 18/12/2025
I think that’s Noem since DHS is over ICE. You could argue other federal agencies are at fault for not reining them in though

Netflix isn’t the greatest but they can at least run a streaming platform. If any of you have tried Paramount+ you know it sucks. And that’s excluding all the other slimy Paramount stuff

By all means keep trying to vote out the republicans. But if you can’t do that and they’re starting to see reality, encourage them. If they can be nudged towards something that benefits us, they can be dealt with later
010
NRG @nargaflarga.bsky.social · 18/12/2025
I mean supporting Trump kinda invalidates your stance as a conservative. Anyone who actually holds those beliefs would oppose him for his blatant overreach in governmental power, which actual conservatives do not support

Let’s see him say it again this year and the year after too. Last year people weren’t as afraid because he wasn’t back in the saddle yet

What I’m saying is that there was a precedent in which time shouldn’t have mattered

They could have in 2022 but the senate just let the effort sit there until it died

NRG @nargaflarga.bsky.social · 17/12/2025
If that’s the case he shouldn’t have dropped the cases. He cited that he couldn’t prosecute a sitting president but Trump hadn’t been inaugurated yet. If they can impeach him when he’s out of office then they should be able to prosecute before he takes office

If it’s about Pokemon, they’ll be toxic until they take their last breath. The TCG side especially, though I can’t exempt the gaming side either lol

That’s fair enough, I wouldn’t either if I had that knowledge about the person. Just wasn’t sure if it was only that or if they also asked you for that kinda stuff

Fair, though I would take 4 more seasons of season 4 quality over any of the following seasons any day. I can live with some changes so long as the overall quality isn’t completely degraded
