Sure... that 20 Euro I didn't spend is not the end of the world. I forgot (oops) & it's annoying. But @darklandsfest.bsky.social can do more than the bare minimum, right? If they are being genuine, as I hope they are, they would want to remind us to refund through all channels as much as possible.

Cannot request until a week after? No reminders on email or social media channels? Not automatic? "The refund period...was clearly communicated on the topup platform" is legal T&C terms to excuse making quick buck. This in combination with the chem sex conference is degrading my trust in Darklands.

Darklands folks: Did you get a refund on your band? According to customer service, 95% of attendees remembered. (Sus...) I'm the 5% that did not (which if 95% is true, it's still likely several hundred folks). So can anyone explain to me how the system is not designed to exploit the community?

To be clear, no one wants Darklands to fail, or for ITM to close, that is not what is happening here. Asher’s call is a demand for both institutions to be better and to stand up for the communities they serve. Accountability doesn’t mean destruction, it is the first step to betterment.
