Since I draw my comics as... Comic pages haha, I'm currently busy with converting them to mobile format so I can post them to platforms like Webtoon ✨ And with the sad news of Tapas shutting down I'm looking for alternatives. I've heard good thinks about Lemoon! I think I'll give them a try 😁

Louis is Dutch coded as I gave him a Dutch ancestral last name and made him around our average height for men. But today I decided that he probably loves cheese because... I'm Dutch and I love cheese (yet I can't have it due to being lactose intolerant, so yes this is my way of coping 😂)

When I was still into vintage (namely 1920s) fashion, I noticed that most shunned the 70s. Mens fashion in particular, was often being referred to as "the most embarassing era of mens fashion". Needless to say I disagree hard lmao 70s was so creative and wonderful ✨ How can anyone dislike it???

Louis through the 80s and the 90s lmao His current haircut is one I saw in an 80s hairstyle book that hairdressers use; it's a hairdo that was worn throughout the 70s and 80s by men. I like to think that around 1988 he'd get a more "modern" hairdo, fully embracing the dad look 💖

Louis' mustache is what spices up his whole character design imo 😂 It's what makes him cute! Or maybe his cuteness is in his haircut... Hmm 🤔 But it doesn't matter either way; I think that for both Big Dave and Louis, their facial hair adds a lot of character 💖

I showed a yaoi loving, Danmei reading aquaintance my OCs and some of the comics I made of Louis and Big Dave. And I love that his reaction was as if it's something he's never seen before: "Such a cute face, but then that mustache?!" <- for Louis 😂 Yes! There needs to be more yaoi with mustaches 😌✨

Not really! I did knew I wanted him to be a drag queen, and that I wanted him to be a very out there "yes I'm gay" type of person. I also knew I wanted him to have a mustache, because none of my characters had one yet 😂 Then I saw that hairstyle illustration and was like oh god yes‼️

Earlier this year, I came across Peter berlin for the first time and was like 😳 wOAH I need to read into this guy because that's the kind of look I wanted to go for with Louis! So I bought his book and documentary. While Louis is not a full on copy, he is loosely based on PB in various aspects ✨

My first inspiration for Louis' design came from this pic I came across, illustrated in a mens hairstyle book from the 1980s ✨ The bobcut with mustache is just 👌👌👌 such a good combo I had to give it to one of my characters 💖 During the 60s and 70s, these hairstyles were also common among men
